Questions You May be Asking
What services do you provide as part of these plans?
Our service includes almost anything that relates to building and optimizing your Shopify store.
This can be developing custom features, designing mockups of new page layouts, creating banners, building landing pages, researching which app to use and helping you get it installed, doing SEO research and on-site optimization, integrating with third-party services, setting up conversion tracking pixels, or just about anything else you need help with to grow your business on Shopify.
How much work can I get done each month on this plan?
The exact amount of work you can get done each month depends on the size and complexity of the tasks you request.
Generally speaking, the Standard plan will cover 1-2 small requests per week or 1-2 larger tasks per month. The Advanced plan will often cover 2-4 small requests per week or 2-4 larger tasks per month.
Plans are scalable, so if things are busy you can always approve additional hours or upgrade your plan.
Which plan is right for me?
If you expect to have a few smaller requests every now and then, or if you just want to have a solid support team on call in case something urgent comes up, the Standard plan is probably a good plan to start with.
If you have a larger number of projects in the queue, if you want to make extensive changes to your site, or if you have multiple sites you want our help with, the Advanced plan is probably a better fit.
The great thing about these plans is that you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time to adapt to your current needs, so you can make your best guess to get started and then adjust from there.
Plus, unused hours roll over for up to 1 year, so if you have a slower month or two, you won't lose those hours.
How quickly will work get done?
Turnaround times for tasks mainly depend on two things:
1) The number of tasks you've asked us to work on, and
2) The size and complexity of each task.
If you've given us a bunch of tasks that you want completed, we'll work with you to prioritize them and tackle them in your preferred order. This means the tasks lower on the priority list will take longer to complete.
Of course, simple tasks can be completed more quickly — often in as little as 1-3 business days — while more complicated tasks can take a couple of weeks or more to complete.
What if I just need one or two things done?
If you just have a small project to start, you have a couple of choices:
1) Start a monthly plan, and cancel it once the 3-month minimum is up. Any unused hours from when your plan was active will remain available for you to use for up to a year afterwards.
2) Buy a Flex Fund (a block of hours). This is a block of 10 or more hours that can be used whenever you need help. The hours don't expire, and they allow you to lock in our current hourly rate for whenever you need help.
Is there a long-term commitment?
There is no long-term commitment for our monthly plans. We do have a 3-month minimum, but after that you can cancel any time.
The 3-month minimum allows us to get to know each other and get into a rhythm working together on improvements to your site, but we don't believe in forcing someone to stick with us if it's not a good fit. During the first month, if either you or we feel that it's not a good fit, either party can cancel the plan and we'll go our separate ways.
We work hard to meet our clients' needs with excellence, so we've never had someone cancel before the 3-month term is up, and most clients continue working with us much longer than that.
Who will I be working with?
You will be assigned a dedicated account manager depending on the category of service that your primary needs fall into. Our team members have different skillsets, so you'll be paired with someone who's a good fit for your needs.
Your account manager will then bring other team members in as needed to help with specific tasks.
For example, your account manager might bring in an SEO expert, a designer, or a developer with expertise in the specific areas that you're requesting help with if that's not already your account manager's area of expertise.
You can always reach out personally to the owner, Leighton Taylor, with any concerns or requests.
How do I send my requests?
You can send your requests directly to your account manager by email, Slack, or within our project management system.
If needed, we'll schedule Zoom meetings to discuss your project and feedback, but asynchronous communication is preferred when possible.
What if I don’t use all of my hours?
Any unused hours from your monthly plan roll over for up to a year. So if you have a slow few months where you don't need much help, you can save up those hours and use them later on a larger project.
Of course, we schedule our team to work on many client projects, so the use of rollover hours is subject to our team's bandwidth and availability. However, we'll fit in your larger requests to be completed as soon as possible.
Can I pause my plan?
Yes, after the initial 3-month minimum, you can request to pause or cancel your plan at any time —just please give us 15 days' notice before the next billing cycle.
Is there any Shopify work you don’t provide?
Pretty much anything that's done within Shopify, we can do.
We don't manage ad campaigns, so if you need help running your Google Ads or Meta ads, we'll refer you to someone else with expertise in those areas.
If you're not sure if what you need is within our area of expertise, send us a message and let us know what you have in mind. We'd be happy to chat with you and see if we're a good fit.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the highly custom nature of our work, we are not able to offer refunds. However, we believe in doing business with fairness and honesty. If you ever have an issue with the quality of our work, let us know and we'll make it right.
